At 513pm CNN ran it's segment on current conditions. Correctly reported (a first on cable I believe) that reactor 3 while shutdown contains MOX and plutonium. Correctly reported as Rachel did in her excellent show on the 15th, that 4 is the real threat since it is open.

Please research the use of a special type of nuclear fuel (MOX for "multiple oxides") at the Daiichi plant. MOX combines the usual enriched uranium with plutomium which is reprocessed from decommissioned warheads. The French firm, Avena, markets this product.

Citizens have a right to organize, voice opinions and protest. But these demostrations are intended and planned as highly disruptive confrontations with elected officials and I've seen some which devolved into mob scenes.
Should New York City reconsider rebuilding the Twin Towers instead of the planned Freedom Tower?

The WTC was conceived as an economicdevelopment project to support NYC jobs in construction and support the Property market downtown. It was underwritten by the government and the original tenants where often government agencies.
